FiberZone Networks Appoints Hai Pedut and Joe Teixeira To Its Executive Management Team


Bethesda, MD, - February 20, 2007 FiberZone Networks Inc., a provider of Automated Fiber Management (AFM) solutions for the efficient management of the physical fiber optic infrastructure, announced the appointment of Hai Pedut as vice president of research and development and Joe Teixeira as vice president of product management.

"Hai and Joe have decades of experience deploying complex systems into very demanding environments," said Gil Eyal, President and CEO of FiberZone. "FiberZone AFM addresses the fiber-rich facilities of tier one carriers, which demand strong optical performance, high reliability, and seamless integration into existing management systems. Hai and Joe are a perfect fit for FiberZone as we come to market later this year."

Mr. Teixeira most recently served as VP of Engineering/Strategic Alliances at NHC Communications, where he led a design team to develop the first successfully commercialized automated copper distribution frame system in North America. He has authored a number of patents and has held additional lead engineering positions in the design and development of copper and optical based connectivity technologies for such companies as Mux Lab, Orexis and Western Totalizator.

Mr. Pedut previously led both professional teams and program managers at KLA-Tencor US (NASDAQ: KLAC) of Scatterometry Critical Dimension metrology systems in the Semiconductors market. Previously at Rafael, he led the development of sophisticated and challenging systems such as missile seekers, thermal imaging systems and Electro Optical algorithm product.
